| Tödlicher Unfall in Eloy, USA Am Sonntag, 12. März starb erneut ein Springer bei Skydive Arizona in Eloy, als er nach einer Kappenkollision in etwa 500 feet [150 m] Höhe abstürzte. Der zweite Springer landete unverletzt. Es liegen bisher keine weiteren Einzelheiten über den Unfall vor.

| Porter in Belgien abgestürzt Am Sonntag, 12 März, ist ein Pilatus Porter mit zehn Springern und dem Piloten an Bord in Moorsele, Belgien abgestürzt. Wie Augenzeugen berichteten, sackte die Maschine kurz nach der Landung in etwa 30 m Höhe durch und fiel dann flach zu Boden. Nach ersten Meldungen wurde niemand getötet, aber alle elf Insassen wurden verletzt. Zur Unfallursache liegen noch keine Meldungen vor.

| Lebenslange Haft für Mord an Fallschirmspringerin Wegen Mordes an einer Fallschirmspringerin ist ein 33-Jähriger Mann aus Düren zu einer lebenslangen Haftstrafe verurteilt worden. Die Richter der 2. Großen Strafkammer des Landgerichtes Münster sahen es als erwiesen an, dass der Angeklage im Mai vergangenen Jahres eine 31-Jährige Springerin aus verschmähter Liebe mit einem manipulierten Fallschirm, der beim Sprung versagte, in den Tod geschickt hatte. Der Angeklagte hatte die Tat zunächst gestanden, später aber seine Unschuld beteuert.

BirdMan International would like to warn all skydivers and skydiving associations about con man who calls himself Kenneth Gregg. This impostor claims to have a company in Germany called Ikaros-sky-collection. He claims to be BirdMan wingsuit dealer and instructor with over 4200 jumps under his belt.
Recently it came to our knowledge, from Finnish law enforcement, that Kenneth Gregg is wanted in Finland as well as in Sweden for several frauds. He was just sentenced to imprisonment for two years for some of his frauds. From his parachute club we found out that he has no more than maximum 200 jumps (before he was expelled from the club).
Kenneth Gregg is by no means qualified instructor for the BirdMan wingsuits, he is NOT our dealer and if found with our BirdMan suits, they should be taken from him before he causes more harm to skydiving society or puts skydivers in jeopardy. He has five (5) BirdMan suits in his possession and if met offering these suits for sale, rent or exchange, please contact us ASAP.
Kenneth is known to live currently in Germany, he also travels a lot in Scandinavia and U.S.
