The now illegal sport of BASE Jumping in Australia may soon have its web site declared illegal! A coverage on Australian TV showed some BASE jumping video clips and reported that the State of New South Wales wants the Australian BASE website banned, because basejumping is illegal now, and as they believe, it encourages illegal activity. Recently a BASE Jumper was killed jumping from a too low cliff in the White Mountains in NSW when his canopy snibbled.

Skydivers who tried to get some information from the Australian Parachute Federation hit a brick wall with their questions. The subject seems to be taboo and the APF won't comment about BASE jumping in any manner.

Forum für Freeflyer

Marc Bachmann hat auf seiner Website "Freefly.de" ein neues, äußerst umfangreiches Forum für Freeflyer eingerichtet. Ihr könnt dieses Forum als Informationsquelle nutzen, Fragen stellen und Euch mit Antworten gegenseitig unter die Arme greifen!

Das Forum ist in viele Themengruppen unterteilt, und wenn es sich durchsetzt, wird Marc weitere Gruppen einrichten. Neue Videos

Joe Jennings released "Good Stuff"

Skydiving Cinematographer and Emmy Award winner, Joe Jennings (Pepsi "Goose", "Freefall Cars", George Bush’s skydive) released his new video "Good Stuff" on April 15. Good Stuff is a fresh and unusual perspective into the global sub-culture of extremists who thrive on the cutting edge of skydiving.

The Cloud's Edge
The Cloud's Edge, a new skydiving film by "New Tribe Entertainment" offers a little bit of all. Produced by Larry Kershenbaum, the owner of Skydive America Palm Beach and Olav Zipser the father of Freeflying and drive behind the Space Games and The First School of Modern Skyflying, it opens the door on some of the best flyers in the world. The film includes some of the newest styles and moves in freeflying and some great footage of technical big ways of up to 34 jumpers with 15 grips over Vichy in France.
