Cumulus Convention
Über 20 Springer nahmen an der diesjährigen Cumulus Convention in Bremerhaven teil. Dabei diesmal auch fünf Schweden, drei Holländer, ein Engländer, ein Belgier und der CRW Weltmeister Christophe Balisky aus Frankreich. Die Skygods der deutschen 4er Sequenz Nationalmannschaft Tom Brand und Peter Vohwinkel (Bronze auf der WM 2000) und des deutschen 8er Speed Ralf Stolzenberg, Peter Pfalzgraf und Holder Hitzwebel (Bronze auf der WM 1998) hoben das Niveau der Cumulus Convention wieder einmal an. Scramblewettbewerb, Erfahrungsaustausch, Cumulus-Aufnahmeprüfungen und Party bestimmten wie in den Vorjahren das traditionelle Kappenformationstreffen und endete mit 10 neuen Cumulus Brüdern und Schwestern. World Parachuting Championship Style and Accuracy
The 25th FAI World Parachuting Championship was held at the Sun Arena near Toba in the Ise-Shima prefecture, Japan, from October 6 to October 16, 2000. The championship covers the two classical events in parachuting: Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing. 300 athletes from 28 countries had entered the competitions in the men's and the women's divisions.
